ID Theft

What is Identity safe with Nortons? Is it better to use it rather than keying in information each time?

I have heard that there is a virus that sends all of your keystrokes to the bad guys so that they can use your private info; so every time you key in a password or credit card number you are vulunerable. I also know you are vulunerable if you store your information on your computer even with a company like Norton. Which is the best and safest solution to prevent ID theft?

  1. Never use them. Tell it to quit asking. NEVER store you login and passwords on your computer. Unless you create a word document, then encrypt it. Then save the password protected word file on your external hard drive and email the word file to your yahoo account. If you ever need your passwords, you can download the word file on to your computer from your external hard drive or your email with the word file. Then open word file, enter password, and it will open.
