2. You get a free credit report at www.annualcreditreport.com. You do not get credit monitoring for free.
3. You can get a free credit report immediately at http://www.creditreport.com without credit monitoring. If you sign up for a free credit report with credit monitoring, then only the report will be free, the monitoring will not be free, and the monitoring might cost more than the report and monitoring would have cost (combined) if you had not taken the "free" credit report with credit monitoring deal.
4. myFico is offering a 30 days free credit report and monitoring and there are other sites that do offer the same.
5. credit-report-free.totalh.com - try this site. I use it to monitor my credit and also cleaned off some bad items from my credit report. You can apply for free initial plan and get your scores and reports for free.
