ID Theft
please help and answer fast?
ok i have had the same yahoo account for about 2 years and yesterday i was bout to check my mail like every other day and it wouldnt let me sign in...i tried on two diff computers and then my sister tried her account which worked...i thought the comp was just acting up n id try later...well i tried later n still couldnt get in...it said "wrong userf ID or passwrd" i kno i had the right user name and id...i tried a billion times...so i put forgot password and filled out my birthday n stuff n answered ?'s to confirm my identity...well it gave me a new passwrd...and after i got that fixed i got the password theft seal thingy to try to prevent it...but this morning it did it again...i htink im gunna change my ID ....i dont know why its doing it...is it a hacker or wat???

- Sounds to me like someone may have your information...whether it be your email address or answers to your secret questions. If they have your 'general information' and know your email address, it's likely they could have gone in and changed your password on you. Try changing your personal information and your secret question.
- Change you password to some really hard thing that only you know and keep it in your pocket exactly as you write it. Make sure you don't have the CAP Locks key on.
- Sounds like it is a Hacker that knows the answers to your questions. Scary. Perhaps it is best to change your ID.
- My dear you have been hacked !!!! Someone hacked in changed your password , if you can remember your secret ?? and answer and the birthdate on it you SHOULD beable to get it back unless they changed that too....
- You might want to sign up for a new Yahoo email account. This time write all of your information down in a notebook and keep your information in a safe place where nobody but you can find it. From there tell all of your friends your new email address and to contact you there instead. Also make sure that nobody gets your information. That means don't tell anybody anything such as your password or secret question and secret answer or nothing like that at all. Good luck.
