ID Theft
credit- ss change id theft?
If i change my ss number because of id theft, and then apply for a credit card. What will they read (credit)bureau . And will my tickets show up on my car insurance? jw

- You cannot change your Social Security Number. That number is your forever.
- You get one life one social security card number, unless you are in the witness protection program. Sorry, all tickets are sent to your insurance if they are for moving violations
- you will have to have a good reason to change your social secuirty number and then mostly likely your old record and new ss card will be linked anyway read this website it explain even if you got a new number your troubles may still exsist http://www.ssa.gov/pubs/10064.html#new
