Are credit report monitoring monthly recurring fees tax deductible?
if not I think it for 2 reasons 1 and foremost because all the money in the banks is insured by the government so if any of it gets stolen as a result of fraud the tax payers have to pay for it so there government might as well make a 15 dollar per month tax break for people with credit monitoring . 2nd I think it's a rip off in the first place to pay someone to tell me what the banks think of me.

- No it's not tax deductible. If you don't want to pay for it, then don't use the service. You can check all three credit bureau reports for free yearly by going to http://www.annualcreditreport.com
- Just because something is a rip off doesn't mean its tax deductible. You don't have to pay the fee. You can check your credit report yourself.
