What does credit card payment protection cover you for? What circumstances do they pay out and how much do...?

  1. Try asking your credit card company for some literature on their protection plan. Every one is different.
  2. This is officially accepted as the biggest rip off in the financial world. Very expensive. you can use any insurance to cover card protection you dont have to use the company who provides the card. also it is illegal to apply pressure on you to accept CPP. Each contract varies but is often worded as to make it unreadable unless you are an expert. They usually cover , loss of card, theft of card, unemployment etc whereby they continue to make the payments. It is up to the individual but is very costly.
  3. i was out of work ill for six months and one card i had it on wouldnt help me as they said i needed a psychiatrists letter to say i had depression
