In AVG Identity Protection should Automatically quarantine detected threats be checked?

1. Yes as long as the setting are ok. if you think it does not automatically block viruses then check the settings.
2. Don't. Sometimes a virus infect main OS's system files and if these files are not in their original places, your system will be crash. This type of infection sometimes could be cleaned by antivirus, no need for quarantine. Good luck!
