I agree Silver. To me it's like getting full coverage on your car AFTER you have totaled it out.

not really if you find the right company. like people who can track down the theif.
it depends. if you are looking to add it ot your home insurance policy then it may be. how long ago was it stolen? if its been in the past 5-8 yrs most companies will not do it on your policy.
simple answer is it to late to get life insurance after you die. yes it already happened. No it will not be retro active you were not paying for the coverage before why would they want to now.
