Lost Wallet !!!?
Okay I lost my wallet Friday night. and have been wondering for it ever since. Fortunately I had my debit Card in my pocket and STILL have it with me right now, So that's all good. But I have my ID, Social Security Card, and My Bank # in their. Library Card and A Video game card which isn't necsassary. What steps do I take prevent Identity Theft?

- You may want to change your bank account number and SSN. This stuff goes downhill fast when in the wrong hands.
- complaint it in police station
- phone your bank and close your account for a while, or either change your account number and apply for a new credit card. You better do it quick mind you.
- i would contact the bank to change acct numbers, tell them what happened get a new i.d. tell them what happened, tell the police what happened in cause they try yo use your i.d.
- firstly all your cards that were in your wallet call the companys of the cards and tell them to block all use of the card, so then you know you wont be loosing money, then report your lost wallet to the police (they will write out a statement ect) were as protecting your name theres not much you can do but if the bank or cards that you have blocked acess to then you shouldnt worry about it too much. but i stronly suggest you do block all cards in that wallet even if it is a silly gamers card you don't want them claiming your points now do ya ;)
