How do I get credit score without a card when all 3 credit bureaus want paid up-front for "monitoring?"
I don't have a creditr card; all I want is to find out what my credit score is, but Experian, TransUnion, and the 3rd credit bureau (can't remember the name of it) all want to be paid up front for some monitoring service that I DON'T want and can't afford! All I want is the &*%$* score so I can figure out just what shape my finances are really in!

- try the free ones its federal law that you can get a free credit report once a year
- IMO, credit score monitoring is a rip off, whether you have 1 card, or 10. You're throwing money away.
- You can request your score from each company by sending a check or money order. Their addresses are available at their web sites. The score for Equifax is $7.95, and you can get the address by calling 1-800-685-1111.
- annualcreditreport.com only gives your reports for free, not the scores. If you want to buy your scores seperately you can. All the others you have to pay for the monitoring service monthly. This site offers a credit analysis for $29 You get all 3 reports, 3 scores and a consultation with a credit pro. http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/request_analysis.htm I did it, loved it.. It was awhile ago, so i dont know if they still offer it, but the page exists so they probably do.
