Losing a DL-should your report?
If your DL is lost, which might mean someone gets it in their hands obviuosly....Is it necessary to file a police report? I know ID theft like credit...Yes, definitly...But can a DL really cause harm? I called DMV in FL, and they don't offer any protection regarding lost cards...they do not even change the license number for you. I just don't want someone to use my license to do something stupid. And if I don't file a police report-and something would happen down the road.....are there ways to prove it wasn't you?!

- I would call the police station and ask if you can file a report. As far as someone using your ID.....I would get a new one. Here in Ohio u fill out a form and it has a box you check that says you lost your old one. that way you have a report saying your ID was lost.
