How good is Identity Theft Protection "LifeLock"???
LifeLock protects your identity BEFORE anyone has a chance to get hold.?will the reay pay up to1ML??

- It's a load of crap that just puts a consumer statement on your credit report and watches it until it pings your credit with a credit check or new account. Most likely, if you have your identity stolen the thief will be long gone by the time they do anything.
- That company basically just places freezes and fraud alerts on their customers credit reports. If you want a freeze or fraud alert on your reports, why pay someone else to do it when you can do it yourself. The question is, who would you trust more - Lifelock or the ID thief?? The Lifelock co-founder seems to have a shady past. Which you can easily find if you do a Google search under his name - Robert Maynard Jr Because of the backlash against Maynard, he "supposedly" stepped down from his position and the company claims that he is no longer an executive or officer of the company, but that doesn't mean he is no longer doing anything with the company - since he seems to be. The CEO (Todd Davis) doesn't seem to be much cleaner AND Lifelock did not seem to be much help in stopping him from being an ID theft victim himself. Do a search on them and read before you decide to sign up or not. *the above is only my opinion based on news reports, past case file information re FTC v. Maynard, etc.*
- I have heard that Trusted ID at creditscorequick is great, they are with the Better Business Bureau as well. Its under the idtheft tab on that site.They have won all kinds of rewards as well.
- i think life lock is great and amazing !!!! i signed up and they gave me a whole bunch of benefits when i sigend up for there best plan !!!! and its televised a lot and is on the radio a lot so i went to this site http:// lifelock.no-ip.biz and signed up for life lock here they explained everything for me and i signed up !!! to me it was the best for the security i wanted for my self !!! and at life lock you can never be too safe !!! so i recommend life lock to any1 who wants the best protection against identity theft
- Lifelock is a great service. Pretty much what they do is make sure that ever time your credit is accessed you have to verify that it is ok. Their system makes it pretty much impossible for anyone to open any accounts without you knowing. They do the 1 million thing as a marketing thing, there is no way that anyone would be able to steal your identity with them so they would never actually ever pay it because they wouldn't have to. - I think it is crap, but that is just my opinion. I personally have coverage for all 5 forms of id theft and full restoration, from the #1 risk management company in the world.
