Has anyone used the sevice Lifelock for protection against ID theft?
Would you recommend it, are they doing all they promised, and what are the costs? Thank you for your time.

- It seems like a great asset to prevent id theft, but the best way is to read your credit card bills, saving receipts, securing your wallet/purse, shop at reputable places, etc... But, last fall, the ceo of lifelock himself was a victim of id theft, so I hope they have enacted counter measures to prevent that happening again. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/438988/lifelock_ceo_becomes_identitytheft.html If you think it is worth spending $10 to have a company prevent id theft, I say go for it. But, if id theft does occur, some credit card companies/banks may be difficult to deal with... Some credit card companies and banks may have similar programs for less or for free.
