ID theft - Passport B/W copy?
What are the possible misuses of indian passport black/white scanned copy? I have sent it by mistake to mail scam and want to know the possible threats. I have lodged the complaint though my lawyer.

- Since its a B/w copy, it cannot be of much danger...So anyway be aware and dont try to repeat again..Know the person/firm u are sending to n check its authenticity b4 sending such stuff. Keep ur passport safe n dont lose it.. They wil know ur personal details and can threaten u...It all depends on them as to how notorious n clever they are..In this age of email n technology...be prepared for anything..be cautious n inform the LAW n also ur parents.. :)
- Dont worry. Nothing can be done with that scanned copy. When original is with you, just forget about the incidents which are going to occur.
