Need good credit report monitoring company.?

Years ago, one major credit company (TRW) used to have a sideline business of offering a monthly credit report monitoring service, part of that service, they would automatically notify you if there has ever been a hard-pull on your credit report and by who. Now that there are numerous credit report monitoring services out there, yet I do not see any that offer this feature/service. So does anyone know of a company that offers this service? Though I currently have a credit report monitoring service, I am not necessarily notified if a hard-pull on my report has occurred. With the ease of someone being able to order credit reports off of the Internet and identity theft being on the rise, I just want to make sure I know whenever a hard-pull is done on my credit report. Wilson Thanks Mefuture, Upon looking at the Gofreecredit site, I am now just wondering would they notify me if someone were to get online and tried to order my credit report under my name? Mainly I am looking to get notified if someone goes online and orders my credit report, yet it does not appear that the Gofreecredit service would notify me in this event. Wilson Thanks Spiffy. I appreciate your input. Wilson

  1. Try GoFreeCredit.com (http://www.gofreecredit.com/?lte=all&id=9851&subid=article). You will receive automatic notifications of changes to your credit report. Charges are $12.95 for each month that you continue your membership. You may cancel anytime.
  2. I don't think you'll find this feature, unfortunately. I don't know of any service that tracks and reports "consumer" pulls of reports - only inquiries from potential creditors. Might not be a bad feature for the credit bureaus to add to their service.
