can a cell phone company release the identity of your number to an insurance agency?

1. How did they even know what carrier you use? I do not believe they should be releasing numbers to other people.
2. I guess not. You or the account holder are the only people who should be providing the information to the insurance agency.
3. The only way they can get this information from a cell phone company is they have to have a legal court order sign by a judge.
4. If they have a court order then, yes. Definitely.
