with all this data protection malarkey how come anyone can get a credit check on a person no problem?
for a couple of quid you can request a credit check on someone anyone isnt that a good way to commit fraud find a good credit check and it gives all details and bobs your uncle no good getting mine im rhubarb when it comes to finances

- It does seem ridiculous doesn't it. But in my view there appears to be quite a few inconsistencies relating to security issues ranging from personal security to wider public issues. e.g. They are considering a border police to monitor illegal immigration but don't insist that EU members require passports to enter the UK. This has resulted in a lot of illegal immigration as it's easy to forge a simple ID card. Whereas I don't begrudge the inclusion of genuinely hard working immigrants entering the UK I definitely resent greatly those who enter with criminal intent, & that really has become a problem. We seem to create problems for ourselves by ignoring a simple safeguard & then resort to expensive & almost over-the-top measures to solve them. The really big question of course is why???
