has anyone used their payment protection plan on their credit cards?
could it be used if you are a seasonal worker?

- I think it is only if you lose your job or medical issues.
- I had that on my Sears card and when I suffered an injury and called to make a claim, they hung up on me. My payments were $20.00, but still I paid for the insurance and I had every right to use it. Yep, they hung up on me. They probably felt that it wasn't worth the paperwork for such a small amount. When it applies to seasonal workers and self employed people, there are certain restrictions and often times these people are excluded, but they won't tell this while they are taking your money. You find this out afterward, when you try to take advantage of what you were paying for. They will tell you that you should have read the fine print.
