Public Comments

  1. A three bureau credit report is one credit report for each of the 3 bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion and Experian). Different creditors may report to different bureaus, just one or all three, or check on any of the three before extending credit. A 3 credit bureau monitoring service detects changes to your credit report on all 3 bureaus and alerts you so that you can verify that the information is correct in order to avoid identity theft before its too late. (These changes may include new accounts opened in your name, credit inquiries, late or missed payments and address changes among others.)
