- I don't know, all I can tell you is to be carefull on how you give away your information online because of identify theft.
- you can get a free credit check one time a year. Goggle free credit check. the monitoring method is a waste of money.
- The gub'ment made it possible for you to get one free credit report a year from all three major reporting services (bureaus...whatever). Previous respondents have pointed you in that direction. However, if you feel you are at risk for credit fraud/indentity theft, all three credit reporting agencies have their own monitoring services. TruCredit, FreeCredit, and I can't remember the other. A quick one-two-three search oughtta weed out the BS artists.
- The only place to get all 3 of your credit reports once per year is www.annualcreditreport.com. This site was set up to comply with a federal law passed in 2004 giving all consumers free access to their credit reports. As far as monitoring your credit reports most of the services either monitor only one bureau or charge around $13.00/month for all 3. That is a little too much to pay. Good Luck
